18 Club members from SIGSCV enjoyed our Day of Service making blankets. 173 gift bags will be used for the children of “earthquake” Moms in Mexico, the SCV Domestic Violence Center and moms in Panama whose children are having heart surgery provided by Mending Kids.
Our GO Girls mentoring program hand-tied materials back-to-back in the monthly program offered at Val Verde Community Center.
Gift bags were donated by Nola Aronson’s Advanced Audiology Office, Results Fitness Gym in Newhall, and Sketchers from Westfield Mall.
Day of Service is an annual event at all 2400 clubs in the Camino Real Region of Soroptimist International of the Americas to demonstrate the concept “Pay it Forward” to women and girls.
